Avenged for the sake of Justice

The skies ignited with lights filling their eyes with wonder and their hearts with peace, the reminders from the past that spoke of victory at a cost and price once paid that was more than worth any burden of task. Lunixia held Motokume close embracing her with tears of love pouring from her face. Ark placed her arm around Ver as Rysiner knelt before them. "True love and true justice..." said Rysiner "but only in times like these are those two found together" replied Ark holding Ver closer to her. Lunixia laid Motokume to rest on the table setting her head gently on its surface, she stepped back and took a knee beside Rysiner. Ark and Ver approached the table with their hands in each others as the holy radiance cloaking them illuminated the room with divine light that scattered the darkness from every corner. They knelt beside the side laying their hands upon Motokume body... "May the hand of salvation restore you beyond the comparison of this mortal world and lift you soul higher than the heavens. I say to you this day, rise up! and be strengthened with the lights justice to overcome the darkness." Ark said loudly as light filled the room, shaking the very foundations of the Citadel. Motokume rose from the table standing straight with her arms slightly lifted from her side as she lifted her head and set her gaze on the light above. Light beamed from her chest burning all darkness, restoring the child of Elune with a heart of strength from the warrior within.

Motokume looked upon Lunixia as her eyes fell to the ground. She held out her hand to pull Lunixia onto the table. With weak knees, Lunixia lifted her eyes to Motokume, her face full of sorrow. "My love. wha... what is it? " Motokume asked as concern rushed over her... Lunixia looked at Motokume then looked around at the rest... "This... isn't over" said Lunixia in a lich tone. "What do you mean?" Motokume asked, concern flooded their minds as Lunixia stood before them with a blank face. Her eyes moved back and forth rapidly as fragments of visions passed her site. She walked toward the table and jerked Shadowmourne from the stone it had been embedded in. An unholy presence came upon Lunixia as her heart was filled with rage, she charged her hands with the darkness of shadows and summoned the gate to Acherus. Before entering Lunixia looked to the others "Apparently we have some unfinished business to attend to...".

The death gate vanished as it consumed Lunixia leaving the others behind in the throne room of Icecrown Citadel. "What are we to do?" asked Rysiner... "Whatever is going on, it cant be good" piped Ver. Ark took a deep breath knowing the others were looking to her for an answer of wisdom. "If she is going where I think she is going, she will need more than our help, she will need all of us by her side." said Ark as she held a crafted explosive in her hand. "At least I will get the chance to blow something up" Ark added. Motokume chuckled as the air escaped her lungs, she then inhaled deeply then out watching her breath vaporize in the frozen air surrounding her. “We will find her” said Ver as her words meant to soothe a pained heart. Ark stepped back to give the order, facing the three standing before her she announced the plan of attack. “Rysiner, remain unseen, find Lunixia and stay on her trail – Motokume seek out Lucy, hopefully she already has her eye on Lunixia and can lead us to her. Ver and I will gather our forces and wait for your signal at Light’s Hope Chapel.

Lunixia stepped into the halls of Acherus slamming the sword of the bottomless pit into the floor. The runed blade glowed as its wielder left it standing in the stoned floor. Lunixia called her Winged Steed and headed for Black Rock Mountain with Shadowmourne in hand ready to strike at anything that attempted to detour her. As she passed over the land of Loch Modan she kicked her steed in attempt to motivate it to fly faster. the steed groaned loudly as it obeyed its master. The sound carried through the winds catching the attention of Lucy who had been on her Magic Carpet meditating above the remains of the calm lake of Loch Modan. She watched as Lunixia flew past, hearing the steed brush through the wind she released the Eye of Kilrogg to follow out of curiosity. Through the eye Lucy observed that Lunixias countenance was through the roof, something was wrong. She commanded the eye to follow Lunixia as she traveled an alternate path to warn the others.

Lucy found herself passing over Black Rock Mountain while on her way to Stormwind City as she noticed Lunixia entering the constructs of the Blackwing. She immediately changed her route to follow Lunixia to the stairwell entrance while remaining out of site. She immediately summoned her Imp demon to her side to assist her in performing the ritual of summoning. Lucy began channeling the stone's magic calling forth the champions of the guild. Out of the dead silence Lucy heard a rumble coming from the entrance followed by a thunderous quake that shook that ground. She continued to channel the stone's magic until her concentration was broken by the loud shriek that pierced her ears like a thousand needles. When all was silent again, she removed her hands from covering her ears to complete the ritual. As she held her hands to the stone and noticed they they were covered in blood. "We need to hurry!" she said, her voice filled with anxiety. The sounds of metal and chains echoed through the walls... whatever was going on in there could not be good. Within minutes the ritual was concluded,  all who heard the call stood before her and the stone entrance to the descent of Blackwing.

Before the arrival of those summoned, Lunixia made her way to the broken platform of guards slaying all three with a single blow to the head. Shadowmourne radiated with the Light's Vengeance as she hurled the axe decapitating everything that stood in her way. After all was calm and all were slain, the room stood in ambient silence as she molten core churned below. As she stepped forward dragging the axe across the broken stones that tiled the floor. She stood still as the platform rumbled with instability raising her axe from the ground ready to strike at a moments notice. Out of the lava came forth a mutated sand worm, Magmaw. Lunixia quickened her stance as the presence of frost consumed her veins to take on the fiery monster. "I will kill you like I did the others, now tell me where is your master?" Lunixia demanded as she raised shadowmourne above her head. All was still but for a moment when the ground began to quake and pillars of flame shot up from the ground she stood upon leaving no escape from the tyranny of this monster. Dodging the pillars Lunixia ran toward the worm to strike, as she swung the axe it was caught by the worm's pincers and then devoured... Lunixia quickly backed away from the worm ready to dodge its next attack.

She noticed a chain attached to a spike near the ledge close to the worm. Magmaw whirled his body vigorously spewing fire everywhere before slamming his body on the ground in attempt to crush the death knight. Lunixia quickly ran for the spike scooping the chain in one hand while mounting the worms backside with the other. With all of the strength in her body she pulled the chain forcing the worm and down slamming it against the ground driving the spike straight through its head. Lunixia then tightened the chain holding the worm to the ground as it shrieked in agonizing pain. Through the shadowy magic, Lunixia brought forth the Death Gate of Acherus. Through the gate she placed a death grip on the sword of the bottomless pit and pulled it to her grasp and began striking with worm until the there was no sign of life left within it. Before moving on she cut the worm open and retrieved Shadowmourne. Lunixia left the platform with both weapons in hand and a dead monstrous worm behind her. There was only one way forward now... the Omnitron Defense System.

Lucy and the others ran inside to find Lunixia. As they gathered at the bottom of the stairs they saw Lunixia run past them towards the defense system, when she reached the top of the steps she slammed Shadowmourne into the stone floor sending a rippling shatter throughout the entirety of the room. She then grabbed the sword of the bottomless pit from her back pointing it towards the ceiling with an outstretched arm. From the tip of the blade sparked multiple purple lightning bolts, each striking the ground around her summoning an undead ghoul to her aid. "Rise and avenge!" Lunixia shouted as the death knights behind her did the same. Within this moment and entire army stood behind her ready to fight to the death for justice. Lunixia sounded the horn of winter and led the charge, but before she could get close enough to initiate her attack, Luliana took a leap of faith and pulled Lunixia back with the others... "before you go rushing in solo, just know we have your back Lunixia... you dont have to do any of this alone" said Luliana. Lunixia shook her head to regain her focus, looked at the others with a blank expression and exhaled deeply. Hadasah stepped forward as she felt Lunixia's gaze upon her fixing her blind eyes upon Lunixia for a moment before reaching her hand out, "Remember Lunixia, who you are... before you lose yourself" said Hadasah. Lunixia knelt down before the others and whispered to Hadasah "I won't lose myself... but this must be done".

"Then may we bless you with the gifts we possess" Ark piped in. "I give you the Blessing of Might" said Ark... "... The Blessing of Kings" said Ver, "...Power Word Fortitude" said Luliana "...Gift of the Wild" said Jadekitsune "... Thorns" said Mystique, "... and may the Earth Shield you from harm" said Hadasah... "Thank you.. all of you" said Lunixia peering through the crowd at so many familiar faces. "You make me more than what I really am... and I need you..." Just then the defense system engaged as the halls echoed with battle cries... "For the Alliance!"... "For Azeroth!" ... "For Justice!" Motokume sat with the unconscious Lucy at the stairwell as the rest rushed in for battle. "Can't we all just get along!?!" the Imp cried as it took a defensive stance next to its master. The armies of the dead swarmed the room taunting the mechanicals back and forth causing massive amounts of malfunctioning chaos to spread across the room like wildfire as the sounds of war flooded the halls.

Motokume called out to her sister Jadekitsune to aid Lucy. Jadekitsune came quickly to Lucy's side... "You must revive her" said Motokume. "May the mending be swift..." said Jadekitsune as she placed a healing touch upon the Gnome. Lucy opened her eyes as she was restored from within. Stained with blood she stood to her feet and ran towards the. "What you can't handle this on your own?" the Imp cried... Lucy looked at the demon and pointed toward battle signaling for the demon to engage. The battle was nearing its end and many allies began to fall from exhaustion. Together the druids called forth the essence of life to spring from the ground renewing all who fought for justice. Within moments the battle was over and the Omnotron Defense System had been breached.

True Love Hurts

Dead silence filled the halls as the surrounding eyes gazed upon the two in the center. Lunixia managed to regain her focus as she rose to her feet. She looked around to notice that almost everyone occupying the Exodar was now focused on her next move. Lunixia slowly drew her swords from the sheaths on her belt remembering the words Math had so wisely spoken to her moments before. She looked around turning slowly in a full circle then back looked back on Motokume. Bending her knees she set her swords on the floor with soft clings that echoed throughout the Exodar. Voices started to mumble amongst the crowd that encompassed the two as Lunixia left her sword behind to eased her way to her attacker.

She came to both knees next to Motokume picking her up from the floor holding her in one arm while caressing her hair and face with her right hand. "What have I done?" Lunixia whispered. Her thumb smeared the blood from Motokume's chin as she attempted to wipe it off. "Come back to me... my Love" Lunixia said in a broken voice. Her eyes looked about the room searching for the the shooter but could not find them. Lunixia quickly redirected her attention to Motokume. Her warmth began to flow from her finger tips through Motokume's skin restoring her skins true tone.  Just then Motokume's eyes opened wide as she pushed Lunixia sliding both across the floor away from each other. Tumbling backwards Lunixia drew her swords from the ground readying combat stance. Motokume came to a knee and gripped the broken arrow with both hands anticipating the very moment she would rip it from her flesh. Lunixia stared in shock as Motokume growled with every exhausting breath."Hammer of Twilight, grant me strength !" yelled Motokume as she purged the arrow from her body.

She quickly reached for her backside from behind her head pulling out two axes, one in each hand, then started walking towards Lunixia, accelerating her pace she whirled her weapons to strike Lunixia but was parried by the runed blades throwing her off balance. Motokume quickly disengaged repelling out of range before Lunixia could strike her down. Motokume's step caught the ground as she quickened her stance once more. "You will be remade Death Knight!" Motokume stated showing her overconfident smirk. The surrounding crowd gathered closer tightening the circle, those with shields formed a wall in effort to force the intruder to fight to the death. Motokume sounded off calling her Core Hound to her aid. The hound plowed through the surrounding crowd dispersing everyone into chaos.

Lunixia watched as all the citizens scattered to the farthest corners of the city... Motokume stood at a distance in laughter as her face turned with rage. The aura that surrounded her had grown brighter consuming more of the soul inside. "What do you want from me?" Lunixia yelled demanding a reason for this madness. "The Twilight's Hammer beckons you... to take your place in the realm of death, mastered by all that defines you... Death Knight... or should I say... Champion of the Light" Motokume said as the winds of death trailed her voice. "What did you call me?" Lunixia asked. Her footsteps nearing Motokume as she raised her swords in anticipation. Just as Motokume spoke the word Lunixia's mind flashed through time... "Champion..." Motokume sounded "...of the Light's vaunted Justice"... at that very moment Lunixia was sealed with the lights blessing completing the gifts of the Naruu that had been placed upon her. The massive recall of truths that flooded her mind brought her to many places... but one made all things clear again.

Stepping into the frozen halls Lunixia followed as Lady Jaina Proudmore communed with the spirit of Uther trapped within the runeblade Frostmourne. The words of Uther made everything clear. Like Arthas, Motokume was just a figment trapped within the body, and death was the only escape. Lunixia's focus was renewed as the wisdom of the light empowered her to complete the task at hand. From the ashes of death Lunixia raised from the ground an army of undead minions. "I will show you death by the light, and a true champion’s reign of justice!" Lunixia said as her minions blitz Motokume bringing her to her knees. As Lunixia approached Motokume she slammed one of her swords into the ground causing the enchanted glow of her runed weapon to warm her back as she knelt before Motokume.

Lunixia placed her left hand behind Motokumes head grabbing her hair and forcing her to look into the glowing eyes of the Lich while placing the tip of her sword against Motokume's chest-guard. "The fallen crusader will rise, but you will be damned..." Lunixia said as tears began to trickle down her cheeks... "Lunixia no! ...its me" said Motokume, the aura had gone from her and the warmth of her skin was replenished. "I know Moto... and I love you... with all my heart and soul" said Lunixia as she pressed her lips against Motokume's passionately... she broke the kiss to whisper into her ear... "but not like this" Lunixia said plunging her sword through the mail chest guard. Motokume gasped for air as her soul was released. She looked at Lunixia one last time... "you have been taken from me...my love... but i will find you again"
Motokume struggled for her last breath... as Lunixia removed her hand from the blade and placed it in Motokume's. As she exhaled Motokume proudly stated "justice... has been done".

Relapse

Song Lyrics

The lights faded into the dark abyss as streams of light enveloped every dimension of her body. Cloaked with the essence of light Lunixia sought after the echoes that cried from afar. "Lunixia!" a faint voice called out... She looked around scanning the distance through the clouded view. As her steps led her forward she noticed the ground ripple beneath her just under the fog she was trailing through. Her curiosity led her toward the center of the waters. Forgetting the voice that called out she knelt down to touch the glassy surface as it reflected more than just a child of Elune. "Lunixia!" she heard again as her focus was quickly stolen from the image in the water to the endless reaches of the winds. She squinted her eyes in the direction she heard the voice.

Nearing closer and closer the outline shaped by the dense illuminated fog reached out a hand of welcome. Lunixia recessed for a moment as her hand reached with hesitation. She turned her head and looked away extending her hand to meet the other. Her anticipation caused her to sink to the waters beneath. She began to panic she watched her feet disappear into the waters below her. As her hand was caught and embraced she felt the warmth of the soft voice whisper "Lunixia... all is well" the voice said. Lunixia stared hard into the mist as the figure stepped forward to reveal itself. "This is the place where the light bends to refine us" the voice said as the figures face pushed the mist aside. "Gaia!" Lunixias voiced full of relief. "Why... Are we dead?" Lunixia asked. Gaia looked at Lunixia with warmth that covered her from head to toe. "Come with me" said Gaia.

As each step rippled the waters upon which they walked clearing the mist from all around them as they approached the hollow of the wooded glen. "This life is not our last to live but every step taken in this lifetime will affect those around us." said Gaia as she turned to the waters behind them. "You see, every decision big or small will eventually collide with another, and it can either keep the waters calm, or it can create waves destroying what was once beautiful." Lunixia looked at Gaia, concern flowing from her eyes "What are you saying?" asked Lunixia. Gaia held out her hand guiding their vision to an Elf in the distance as it trailed behind her pet wolf. "Motokume?" Lunixia asked softly as her heart swelled with an overwhelming longing for Moto. She was about to call out.. Gaia grabbed Lunixia by the arm. "Our time is short, listen close....She needs you Lunixia.. more than you know. Affirm you are hers, for the bond you share is stronger than 1,000 truths forged as one..." Gaia paused for a moment... "show her your love as she has shown you hers - that is why she followed you here... to show you with all that she is that her love for your burns brighter than the sun and cannot be eclipsed" Lunixia took a deep breath as her heart filled with passionate rage... tears trickled down her face as she watched Moto in the distance as she searched beyond the ends of the earth for her love. "What if I fail her?" asked Lunixia, her voice full of certainty that her implication told of what had already come to pass. "Her strength rests in you... you have already succeeded farther than you can even imagine" said Gaia. Lunixia wiped the tears from her face as her cheeks rushed with warmth from such words.

"I wish I could share more than these last moments with you... these moments are a vapor in the wind..." said Gaia as she squared her body with Lunixias... "But this is not our last goodbyes... I will be closer to you than you could ever know... but promise to remember me" Gaia said as she wrapped her arms around Lunixia, one arm over Lunixias shoulder and the other around her frame. Lunixia embraced Gaia dwelling on every last word spoken. "How could I forget you?" Gaia sighed with slight sadness in her voice... "Its not you who will forget... it is me" said Gaia as she closed her eyes and pressed her heart against Lunixias. "Take a leap of faith Lunixia, time waves its hands but once... pursue your hearts desires no matter the cost" said Gaia. As they held each other and embraced the dream they fell into the stars as the world around them collapsed. "I promise!"

Interrupted

"Oh gosh!.. I'm so sorry!" Math said as she her hooves slid across the ground attempting to retract her steps. . "Have you seen the wounded Worgen?" Math asked with her back to the two night elves in bed. "Math? is that you?" Moto asked hoping to ease the slight awkwardness with familiar company. "Motokume" Math said with a relieved smile. "Yes its me... Im looking for Prime - she was wounded and I left her here with Blazedskins to recover and..." ,, "wait you left Prime here with Blazedskins?" Moto interrupted "Yes, I couldnt stay with her for long so I left her here with Blazedskins since he had a Potion Injector and the bandages to help her recover." said Math as she became lost in confusion and a sense of failure. "The Prime you know no longer exists... " said Moto throwing hinting gestures toward the other Night Elf. "Wait, What!?!" Math exclaimed. "Right before I got here, I saw a Gnome running followed by smoke from his little chemistry experiment." said Moto as she reached for the truth of the events that took place. "This Night Elf here has faint memories of us, and she somehow knows that she used to be a Worgen... can you explain that?" Moto asked. After a brief pause Moto interrupted Math just as she was about to speak. "This is Prime, and she is mine now." Moto said possessively defending Prime's security.

Math looked upon Prime with pity... "Prime, do you know who i am?" Math asked hoping Prime could recall. Prime fastened the clips of her bra "I have seen you in my dreams before but I dont remember much of them." Prime said as she began searching the confines of her mind. She sat on the edge of the bed staring off across the room in a daze. Math tilted her head and gave Prime a confused grin, just as she did she noticed a letter on the floor. Math was walked over to the pick up the letter that had been partially swept under the rug from the Potion Injector accident. She picked up the letter "whats that?" Moto asked "Its a letter for Lucy, I was going to give this to Lucy. Prime came looking for me at Ebon Hold, she was experiencing visions..." -- "visions of what?" Moto interjected -- "...of Lucy visions I hoped Lucy would be able to shed light on. She wasnt sure what they meant or why she was experiencing them so I wrote this note in the event that my absence was prolonged by my duties of service to the Ebon Blade." Math explained as Moto just stared in surprise.

"So what now?" Moto asked with a slightly sarcastic tone. Math stood a moment in silence not knowing what to say... "I will do what must be done... for Prime's sake" Math said - "and what exactly is that?" Moto asked, her concern revealed a her feelings for Prime as Math turned her back to walk out the door. Just before she stepped out she turned to the two Night Elves far enough to put them in her peripheral view. "If the Naaru have not forgotten us, why should I let Prime forget those who are most important to her, those who care and consider her as a vital member of the guild?... I will not forget nor will I allow her to forget. The Ebon Blade will press on... without me - the Gift of the Naaru will heal Prime in body, mind and soul and she will be renewed... Prime meet me in the Shadow Vault in Northrend after you have eaten, there you will find a new path to your destiny..." Before Moto could say anything Math summoned her Ebonsteel Boned Gryphon disappeared into the distant resonating halls of Iron Forge.

"Gift of the Naaru?" Prime asked, curious to remember what it was. Moto turned to Prime, both sitting Indian-style facing each other. She placed one hand on Prime's cheek while placing the other in Prime's. "You don't have to go..." Moto said willing to accept the fact that Prime had been mentally locked away and that she might never know her in the same way as before, things just wouldn't be the same. Prime looked at Moto "I need you..." she whispered - Moto submerged her gaze into Prime's eyes. "...to be strong" Prime concluded. Moto's eyes filled with tears... "and if I lose you again?" Moto asked "You won't... I promise" Prime answered as she stood up and grabbed her backpack. "But how do you know that?" Moto protested. Prime sighed, "I don't... but I trust Math that she will restore what has been lost." Prime walked toward Moto who was sitting on the bed, she held out her hands and assisted Moto to her feet. "Nothing can keep us apart now" Prime said as she leaned into Moto she wrapped her arms around her holding her closer than ever before. Moto pulled away slightly aligning her face with Primes. Moto pushed her lips into Primes interlocking the pair as their grasps renewed with growing passion... The hands of time called to Prime as she pulled away from Moto "Wait for me here... I will come back to you" Prime said, her eyes fixed, gleaming with hope. "But won't leave you Prime" Moto protested. "But I need you to trust me." Prime explained as she hands slowly fell from behind Moto."Please trust me"

Full of confusion, Moto sat holding the letter addressed to Lucy as Prime left for the Iron Forge Inn to fatten up on a good meal before making the trip to Northrend. She curled up and laid her head to rest as tears ran down her cheek into the pillow. She held the letter against her chest to comfort her worries. As her mind flooded with memories and pretenses she drifted off into dream space. Prime found her way to the gates of Iron Forge where she received directions to Menithil Harbor from a guard... as she mounted her Red Protodrake she thought to herself  "I knew that... how could I forget how to get there?" Upon her arrival she heard a final call to Northrend. She landed at the dock, dismissed her drake and boarded the boat. The boat ported at Valgarde in Northrend, Prime summoned her drake and ascended into the heights of the winds. She passed over the floating city of Dalaran into Icecrown. There she saw the broken gate doors of Icecrown Citadel that drew in her curiosity. She entered the broken gates into the first room, panning the from side to side and peering deep into the farther rooms of the lower spire.

Just as she turned to exit she was startled her eyes were drawn to a figure standing in the shadows. The figure walked towards her, Prime drew her sword from her backside. The figure stopped in its tracks and stood with one hand on its sword. "Do you remember this place?" the figure asked. Prime lowered her weapon in response. "We were all once servants of this throne..." the figure stepped forward revealing itself... "but the lights justice rose to conquer this darkness..." -- "Math!" Prime shouted relieved to see her. "You will remember our final stand... you will remember where you come from" said Math motioning for Prime to follow. Math and Prime left the Citadel and summoned their drakes. "Follow me" said Math as she steered her drake toward Dalaran. "I thought you said the Shadow Vault?" Prime questioned. "I know I did, but there has been a change in plans." said Math - I owe much more to the guild than standing by and assisting only when I can. Prime didnt know what she meant by that but she trusted her enough to follow in hopes that she could be healed from the inside out.

Minutes later they landed in Dalaran, there they met with the portal master to teleport them to The Exodar. Any mage could have done the same for them but Math didnt want to waste any time. "Why are we going to the Exodar?" Prime asked curiously. "We are going to the Crystal Hall to see the Shaman...her abilities are beyond this world." Math explained. "Shaman as in... a soul mender?" Prime asked "Exactly" Math replied. "Are you ready?" The portal master asked "We are" Math replied. Within the blink of eye both were standing in the Exodar. "One of these days I'm going to get teleported and appear right where someone is already standing... wouldnt that be interesting?" Math asked humorously. Prime looked at Math with a smirk "I'm kidding" said Math "but that would be interesting... this way" They walked to the great stone of Crystal Hall "Sulaa, good to see... " Math paused as Sulaa gestured silence. With her eyes closed she motioned them to sit and wait while she finished her meditation session. "How may I aid you?" said Sulaa opening her eyes to greet the Death Knights.

"Come... sit..." Math and Prime both sat with the Shaman. "Troubled are you?" asked Sulaa. Prime looked at Math hoping she could explain the reason for their visit. Sulaa looked at Math "Give me your hands" Math held out her hands placing them in Sulaa's, moments passed as  "You seek what is beyond your site Death Knight... but a calling nonetheless..." said Sulaa as she ventured into the depths of Math's spirit and soul. "Your heart bleeds for those you love, and yet your reach will never ransom them at your will..." said Sulaa as she revealed the true reason Math came to her. She looked at Prime with grace in her eyes. "Your friend is true to her commitment and would give her life to heed her calling... in my many years, few have I seen that possessed the virtues of the Naaru, beyond the gifts they possess... she will be blessed for her courage and sacrifice to answer the call." she paused for a moment "come with me" she said as she rose to her feet and walked towards the Stone Element that towered over the meditation mat. "Lay here.." she said pointing to areas on that mat. Prime and Math laid parallel to each other with Sulaa kneeling between the two. "Relax..." she said as she placed her each hand above their heads. As her abilities drove her into the depths of the underworld she sought after Prime for only there would she find a need for healing. Within this realm she found that Prime's spirit had been shattered into fragments that contained her memories and dreams. Sulaa quickly pieced the fragments back together in order to reforge the entirety of Primes body, mind and spirit, for when in pieces, all things in all dimensions of time lied in a clouded apparition.

Stepping back partially into the mortal world Sulaa placed her hand on Prime's cheek and whispered softly into her ear "be still... the circle is almost complete..." she placed her hand back above Primes head then leaned toward Math, as she motioned herself Math inhaled deeply, then out "I'm ready" said Math leaving no room for question or reservation. Sulaa was not surprised but rather impressed with her eagerness to commit. Submerging back into the underworld Sulaa discovers that in the reincarnation process, Math uses her gift of the Naaru to merge part of herself with Prime completely reforging her soul and completing the circle of spiritual healing. In doing this Math's spirit is released from her body becoming lost within the underworld. Prime experienced rapid sequences of visions replaying chronologically all that was contained in her mind in a forward motion that seems to flash before her eyes. Kicked back to consciousness from the feeling of falling, Prime quickly rose to her feet feeling empowered with knowledge with wisdom. From behind her Sulaa grabbed her hand and pulled her close. "The revelation has been set in motion Kaldorei... this new path would lead you across many spaces in time to rediscover the many truths... of yourself and the ones you love.... listen to your heart for it will guide your steps" said Sulaa as she balanced herself between both worlds. "And what of Math?" Prime asked "She has chosen a knew path, I must retrieve her from the underworld to fulfill her purpose." Sulaa replied "Go now and return with the one who seeks you... in that time you mind well clear and you will be complete." Prime slowly let Sulaa's hand slip from hers comforted by the warmth in her heart. "I will..." Prime said with a smile of renewed joy as she left to find Moto.

With Math by her side Sulaa closed her eyes to reflect upon the past. Math had fallen to the will of the Lich King just as many more of Eredar fell to the will of Sargeras. "I understand your ailment" whispered Sulaa as she placed her totems around the body. "I will cleanse your spirit of all things impure!" said Sulaa relentlessly as she focused her energy reaching past the threshold of this world into the vastness of the underworld. Sulaa felt the unholiness draw her in as it fought to sustain itself. Sulaa surged the spirit with healing waves as she purged the plague that scarred from the inside. She united the spirit with the Draenei body renewing all that embodied this ascended being. Sulaa sat for hours in meditation while the body rested. Finally she started to awaken... "You are a symbol of Love" she said waking the Draenei from her sleep... the newly awakened Draenei moved her eyes about the Crystal Hall then fixed her eyes on Sulaa. Sulaa peered into her eyes with such joy... "Welcome back... Hadassah... let the journey begin..."

A preminition of the past (continued)

Hours passed by as the fires luminance danced in the midst of the room. Prime lay wide awake to make sense of everything but faced away from Moto pretending to sleep. "She kissed me..." Prime pondered "...but why?". The crackling of the burning embers played the sound of gun fire that echoed in what seemed to be an eternity. Through the resonance her mind Prime heard a soft whisper... "You are her strength..."

Prime found herself in darkness of a dungeon, the sound of water drops paving her path...the gun fire was drawing closer... "Prime!" a voice called out... "Here! I'm coming! I'm on my way!" Prime shouted as she sprinted toward the voice... she drew her sword as she saw Moto setting a trap in panic... just as Moto looked up she jumped back disengaging from the monster as it set off the trap... "Prime!" Moto shouted... just before Prime could let out her battle cry she heard the Horn of Winter... Prime stopped... she watched as an armored Worgen came to stand between Moto and the monster... "who?" Prime thought to herself. Together Moto and the Worgen defeated to monster, Prime watched as Moto turned to thank the Worgen for saving her... "you are my hero Prime..." Moto said to the Worgen... Prime jolted back to reality springing to her feet with her heart beat racing through every inch of her being...

Prime rushed to Moto who was still standing by the fire, consumed by her confusion... Prime placed her arms around Moto's waist holding the warmth against her breasts "It's ok Moto, im here... I won't let you go" Moto turned to face Prime in tears... Prime placed her hands on Moto's face to wipe the tears away... both stood by the fire in each others arms... Prime looked deep into Moto's eyes slowly pulling her closer... Moto could feel her heart pounding against Primes as she took a deep breath and closed her eyes... Prime pushed her lips into Moto's... her heart raced with adrenaline as the warmth that flowed through her radiated. Pulling away Prime held Moto even closer and whispered softly into her ear... "Will I miss being Worgen?"

In Between Dreams

"Try not to move too much" said Mystique as she nourished Prime with her healing touch. "You will be back on your feet before you know it." Prime looked upon Mystique and smiled as their gaze left each other. Moto and Mystique stood in the doorway... "She seems very strong... I don't expect you will be needing me again, but you she is lucky to be alive, the poison I removed from her wounds could have killed her... I've never seen anything like..." said Mystique as she glanced down the great halls of IronForge. "Thank you so much for everything" said Moto as she placed her hand on Mystique's shoulder. "Anything for a friend" said Mystique as she walked away.

Moto leaned against the door frame with her arms crossed pondering the dream she had experienced moments ago. Prime rose to her feet and walked toward Moto... hearing the footsteps behind her Moto opened her eyes but maintained her posture... "Feeling better I take it?" Moto asked... "Feeling more than you can believe"  answered Prime expecting a questioning response... Moto turned from the doorway with a raised brow. "I have dreamed your dream and have seen what you have seen... the calling of what your heart desires burns as mine seeks the same." said Prime.

In the capture of her interest Moto slowly stepped forward toward Prime. "What do you mean?" Moto was drawn to the words of this Night Elf for they spoke to her of things that could not be. "Come child... closer" said Prime as she knew Moto had heard these words before... "Give me your hands"... Moto reached out and placed her hands in Primes... at this moment Primes eyes ignited with a blue florensence that drew Moto into the confines of the dream... her mind was consumed by the eyes of the Lich. Flashing back Moto learned of a bond they shared... Moto was back at the tree looking through the reflection in the pool of water. She discovered Prime was once a Human Warrior, a fallen night of Stormwind reincarnated by the ritual of soul inception. She watched through this mirror of water as Prime followed the voice of the Lich King and became a Death Knight of the Scourge.

Release from the tunneled vision of the dream Moto knelt beside Prime "Before this day, have I known you?" asked Moto hoping to find meaning in these shared moments. "We have met before, but i know not  the time nor place. We have fought side by side and hand to hand... but I have seen your face among many dreams, a face I cannot forget" said Prime. Moto placed her hand on Primes cheek and whispered... "I see you"

Abstracts of the Past

"Deep breath" ... "Deep breath... you've been here before" Prime repeated to herself.
Jaq's voice whispered in her ear as she embraced the cold ground beneath her.
"You can't... worthless... die!" the voice told her.
"No! - Lucy!" Mathematics cried out from behind Prime as Jaq held Lucy to at sword point.
Prime turned her head and looked at Lucy... she reached for her...
"Stop!" Prime screamed waking from the nightmare...

"Are you alright?" Moto asked as she spun from the doorway.
Prime sat and stared downward toward her hands and answered with hesitation "I.. uhm... had a bad dream... i think..."
Moto made her way to the bed to sit next to Prime...
"I know you..." Prime said with slight uncertainty in her voice.
"Have we met before?" Moto asked with curiosity radiating from within her...
Moto always loved when she was able to touch base with old friends. It is a small world after all.
"I dont know" said Prime "Perhaps in a past life... or maybe it was just a dream..."
Moto sat in silence not knowing what to say, the words of comfort she thought she could provide were all of the sudden stripped away.

"I dont know what happened before I arrived, but i would like to help you" Moto said
"What do you mean?" Prime asked "What happened? What did you see?"
"Nothing..." Moto said as she tried to change the subject... "I just noticed you were alone..."
Moto lost her train of thought and there was an awkward silence...
"I'm Motokume, but you can call me Moto" Moto said as she held out her hand to properly introduce herself...

Prime hesitated for a moment but then proceeded to reach out to shake her hand.
"I'm Pri...AHHG!" Prime turned to her bandaged wound and to her surprise she could nto recall what happened. Moto looked upon Prime with compassion... The name could wait although Moto was curious to know if they had met before...
"Lay back down and rest, I'll get a friend to help mend your wounds... " Moto said as she eased Prime back into a comfortable position.

"Don't leave me" Prime begged as the touch of Moto's soft hands held Prime's cheek stirring the memories trapped within her dreams. They stared into the depths of each others eyes as Prime was consumed by the unraveling of her memories.
Moto saw that she was needed more than she could understand... "I won't, I'll send for her instead..." She then turned to her Argent Squire, Martin "Martin see to it that Hadassah gets this message" as she handed Martin a folded note.
"Right away!" young Martin said as he scurried off to find Hadassah.
Moto set her backpack and gun on the table and snuffed out all but one candle leaving enough light to walk around the room if it were necessary.

She handed Prime a potion from her bag "Drink this, it will help the mending while we wait for the Shaman". Moto was driven to help this woman for reasons unknown to even her own heart.
Prime laid her head to rest as her mind wandered into the depths of her dreams... the memories from before had been locked away from the unknown potion combined with the electric shock explosion. Before she closed her eyes, she whispered into the dim light "Will you lay with me?"

Moto closed her eyes in slight pause but could not convince herself to say no... instead she was warmed with a peace from within to comfort and care for this wounded friend who was closer to her than she could even imagine. "Of course..." said Moto as she climbed in and rested her body next to Prime's. "I'm here for you..." she said as she put her arm around Prime and held her hand as they fell asleep.
